Visions:
At 5 years post project, it is desirable that the project has resulted in;
- 30% reduction in unused biomass fraction due to increased fraction of class one yield (10%) and increased utilization of unused biomass fractions (20%)
 - Reduced heat processing times (60 – 90%) compared to static retorting and thus reducing production costs and increase nutritional yield
 - A modeling tool for optimizing agitated processing and minimize product development costs, while improving food quality and convenience
 - Optimized strategies for exploitation of by-products
 - > 20 % increased turn-over for the food industry partners
 - Reduced expenses (taxes) related to waste deposition contributing to reduced costs for the industry partners
 - Availability of organic fertilizer strategies for Brassica and tomato based on waste (from field and storage) and side-flow (from processing) raw material resulting in reduced use of chemical pesticides concomitant with added value in crop production and human health
